Roles

Communications & Community Engagement

Build and strengthen relationships between MHA and our internal, media and community stakeholders to ensure trust and confidence in the Home Team.

Corporate Administration

Provide administrative and logistical support for MHA, including managing fixed assets and official gifts, ensuring a robust knowledge management process and streamlining administrative processes.

Finance

Manage MHA’s finance requirements to support the Ministry in short and long term operating and development requirements. Help improve our financial operations and resource utilisation.

Human Resource

Make the Home Team an employer of choice and help build a competent workforce to ensure that the Home Team is operationally ready and prepared to manage security challenges.

International Relations

Safeguard and advance Singapore's homeland safety and security interests in the international arena. Build our capacity through international partnerships and build regional capabilities to make our region safer.

Logistics

Play a key role in MHA’s operational readiness during emergencies and peacetime operations. Work on supply chain and transport projects, and develop and review logistics doctrines and policies.

Policy & Operations Planning

Formulate policy and legislation across safety, security, rehabilitation, and immigration domains, alongside strategic resource management to optimise manpower, budget, and land deployment across the Home Team.

Research

Provide quantitative and qualitative research to support MHA's policy formulation and operation reviews. Support decision making with behavioural insights and data analytics, and help develop a research community within MHA.

Risk Management & Audit

Establish common auditing standards, develops tech solutions, and fosters collaborative partnerships to strengthen risk culture and assurance across the Home Team.

Strategic Planning

Ensure that strategic planning, innovation and performance management processes are aligned with MHA’s key priorities. Identify ways to enhance the Home Team's effectiveness.

Technology

Work closely with the Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) on the best ways to use technology to support our operations. Develop and oversee MHA’s use of data and ICT systems.

Training

Help ensure that our Home Team officers are well equipped to perform their roles, both now and in the future. Identify training needs, develop policies, curate and run training programmes, and build training partnerships.
