Each Home Team agency plays a unique role. Home Team volunteers contribute in myriad ways, from fighting crime and fighting fires to educating the public and befriending offenders and ex-offenders. How do you want to make a difference?

Citizens on Patrol (COP)
Patrol your neighbourhood to keep it safe! Alert the Police of suspicious activities or persons, and help spread awareness on crime prevention measures.

Crime Prevention Ambassador (CPA) - National Crime Prevention Council
Work in partnership with the Police and community to educate the community on crime prevention.

National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) Cadet Inspectors and Honorary Officers
Volunteer as an NPCC Cadet Inspector or Honorary Officer and help support the Corps to develop and nurture our cadets to achieve the necessary core competencies.

Victim Care Cadre Programme (VCCP)
Provide emotional support and psychological first aid to victims. You need to possess (or to be studying for) a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related disciplines.

Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) - Community
Be part of the community policing force and work with regular officers to enhance the safety and security of your neighbourhood.

Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) - Police Officer
Work alongside the Police to patrol the streets and enforce law and order in Singapore.

Join the Civil Defence Lionhearter Club for tertiary students. Be a Community First Responder and Emergency Preparedness Ambassador in your campus and community

Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) - Emergency Medical Services
Use your skills to support emergency medical services as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic with the CDAU

Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) - Enforcement Officer
Help ensure fire safety by conducting enforcement checks for violations against fire safety regulations and for fire hazard matters.

Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) - Firefighting and Rescue
Respond to fire and rescue incidents alongside SCDF regulars as a CDAU Firefighting and Rescue Officer.
Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) - Public Education Officer
Help spread the word about emergency preparedness to members of public in classroom based teachings or at community events as a CDAU Public Education Officer.

National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) Cadet Lieutenants and Honorary Officers
Volunteer with the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) to help train the next generation of young cadets in civil defence and life-saving skills
Singapore Prison Service

Singapore Prison Service - Befriender
Foster a mentoring relationship with an offender that begins in prison and continues after their release. You'll help prepare them for reintegration into society.
Singapore Prison Service Volunteer - Religious
If you are already volunteering with one of our partner religious organisations, you can sign up as a Prisons volunteer as well, to provide support and programmes for incarcerated offenders.
Singapore Prison Service Volunteer - Secular
Help offenders learn important skills and improve their education. You can contribute and help out at various activities for offenders, ranging from enrichment programmes to academic tutoring.

Singapore Prison Service Volunteer Case Officer (VCO)
As a Volunteer Case Officer (VCO), you'll work with Singapore Prison Service staff to support ex-offenders during their reintegration into the community.
