Help prevent fires by ensuring that others abide by fire safety requirements. As a Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) Enforcement Officer, you'll conduct enforcement checks alongside regulars for violations against fire safety regulations and for fire hazards.
Previous experience as a fire safety manager is preferred. You will receive training on fire safety regulations and how to conduct enforcement checks so you can contribute effectively.

Commitment
Minimum of 2 hours per duty, at least 16 hours per month
Duty Timings
During or after office hours, when there are enforcement checks
Allowance
Duty allowance of $5.20 per hour, regardless of rank
Rank and Status
Your rank upon joining is Sergeant 1; Civil Defence NSmen or ex-regulars will assume their last-held rank if higher
You will have the same status and powers as SCDF regulars

Who is eligible
You'll need to meet the following criteria:
Singapore Citizen
Aged 18 to 45 years old
Bilingual; able to converse in English and a mother tongue (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil)
Fire Safety Manager experience and/or certification required
Only shortlisted applicants will be notified to come for an interview.

You will work alongside with the regular officers to conduct fire safety checks.
