Question:
Ms Yeo Wan Ling: To ask the Senior Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs (a) whether Singapore Citizens are currently able to access their historical arrival and departure records held by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA); and (b) if not, whether ICA will consider allowing individuals to securely retrieve their own travel history through the MyICA mobile application, particularly as passport endorsements are no longer routinely used for immigration clearance.
Answer:
Mr K Shanmugam, Senior Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs:
1. Individuals who require information on their historical travel movements through Singapore’s checkpoints may submit a request via the feedback channel on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority’s (ICA’s) website. There are currently no plans to develop a self-service mechanism on the MyICA mobile application, in view of other higher priority projects to serve Singaporeans.
