Transcript of Brief Remarks by Mr K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, at Masjid Khalid

1.   Here, today, at Khalid Mosque, we have about 120 people. We want to break fast with them. They are from the various qaryah groups all around Singapore. This [session] is for us to engage them. Minister Masagos is here, I'm here, many other Malay Muslim Members of Parliament are here, to really tell them that they are doing extremely good work on the ground, a lot of social work, helping people, and also helping in the prayers, helping the community. Coming together today, breaking fast with them, with all the qaryah groups, and discussing the issues, is a way of us, telling them that we support them, and showing our support for them. Thank you.
