Written Reply to Parliamentary Question on Number of Road Rage Cases Reported in the Past Three Years

Question:
Ms Yeo Wan Ling: To ask the Minister for Home Affairs over the last three years (a) how many cases of road rage have been reported; and (b) what percentage of these point to drivers as (i) victims and (ii) perpetrators.
Answer:
Mr K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law:
1. Between 2021 and 2023, the Police received 178 reports of road rage.
2. The Police do not track whether the perpetrators of road rage incidents are drivers or other road users.
