A career in HTA lets you contribute directly to the learning and growth of Home Team officers and to the success of the Home Team's mission.
HTA is a true microcosm of the Home Team. Our unique staff composition comprises seconded Home Team uniformed officers and civilian staff under the Home Affairs Senior Executive (HASE) scheme. The seconded uniformed officers and civilian staff are posted to HTA for about 3 to 5 years. Home Team officers bring with them ground and operational knowledge and experience.
HTA strives to develop each and every Home Team officer to the fullest during their posting with us and to prepare them well for their next posting. It is our priority to win the hearts and minds of all our staff, so that we can continue to deliver on our mission as the Home Team’s corporate university. This is our Employer Value Proposition to you – you will be more developed and competent after your stint at HTA!

I design curricula and methodologies that help Home Team officers learn the necessary competencies and be more effective in their jobs. I am grateful to have received the MHA Study Award for a Master's course I took up to deepen my knowledge in adult learning and education, and for HTA senior management’s faith in me.

HTA has helped me discover the different paths to develop myself. For example, we are strongly encouraged to seek out training opportunities to upskill. This has indeed made me a more competent and confident officer, as I go about assisting to drive and implement heritage development plans and initiatives across the Home Team.
