1. A very good evening to all members, partners, and guests. I am very happy to be able to join you here today.
2. As you know, this year marks the 55th Anniversary of National Service. It is a significant milestone for all of us as we honour the contributions of our NSmen in keeping Singapore safe and secure.
3. This year, all NSmen are very excited, as they will receive $100 credits each, which they can spend at any online or physical merchant accepting payment by “Scan and Pay” via PayNow UEN and NETS QR. Similarly, HomeTeam NSmen will also receive one year of complimentary HomeTeamNS membership. If they pay a nominal fee of $10, HomeTeamNS will extend the membership duration to three years.
4. Today is an important milestone for all of us in the partnership between HomeTeamNS and Cathay Cineplexes.
5. Our collaboration started in 2018 when we introduced the ‘$3 off Weekend Movie Tickets’ deal for members. This evolved to ‘1-for-1 Movie Weekends’, and now, we have ‘All-Day 1-for-1 Movie Benefit’, which is one of the best movie ticket promotions in Singapore.
6. Thanks to our members’ and Cathay Cineplexes support, we have achieved over 30,000 1-for-1 transactions to date.
7. As you may know, we have gone though this Digitalisation Journey. I use the HomeTeamNS Mobile App regularly and find it very useful. At HomeTeamNS, we will continue to look at how we can provide benefits and privileges for our members, which they can enjoy with their families.
8. On this note, I am very happy to announce that we have officially integrated a digital booking system for the ‘All-Day 1-for-1 Movie Benefit’ into our HomeTeamNS Mobile App. I am happy to launch it, and members can now book their tickets in advance and on-the-go, with increased convenience.
9. We are thankful for corporates like Cathay Cineplexes that have stepped up to support our HomeTeam NSmen. We are also thankful for families and friends for their constant support for our NSmen.
10. Today’s launch is a timely milestone for HomeTeamNS as we celebrate NS55 this year. We have lots of more activities including the opening of our Bedok Clubhouse at the end of the year.
