Permit for Fruit Machines
The Permit Officer may grant a society a permit or permits to operate fruit machines if the society fulfils the Permit Criteria.
Criteria and Conditions
All societies issued with fruit machine permits must comply with the permit conditions:
Societies must also comply with all other provisions under the Private Lotteries Act, the regulations under it and any further conditions the Permit Officer may impose.

Supporting Document Required
You will need to prepare the following supporting documents to provide the necessary information during your application and for uploading to LicenceOne when prompted.
- An authorisation letter endorsed by the President or Chairperson of the Society to apply for a private lottery permit (PDF)
- Latest copy of the Society's Constitution, Rules and By-laws certified by the Chairman or Member of the Executive Committee of the Society (PDF)
- An audited statement of the number of members in each category of membership at the last financial year closing, stating the membership types (PDF)
- An audited statement of accounts for the last 3 financial years without fruit machine operations (PDF)
- An audited supplementary disclosure for the disclosure on fruit machine revenues and direct fruit machine expenses (in both Microsoft Excel and PDF format)
- Minutes of Annual or Extraordinary General Meeting, documenting the intent of the members to have fruit machine facility (PDF)
- Floorplans – showing the location of the proposed fruit machine room and the various other facilities (PDF)
- A copy of the URA planning permission for the proposed use as a clubhouse (PDF)

The normal processing time for applications and renewals is about 2 months from
the receipt of the application and the necessary supporting documents.
