A Volunteer Case Officer (VCO) supports supervisees emplaced on community-based programmes by working closely with Singapore Prison Service (SPS) staff.
As a VCO, you will provide case management and prosocial support to supervisees and help steer, coach, and guide them to live a prosocial life during their reintegration back to the community.

The recruitment for VCOs is currently closed. Please check back in December 2025 for more updates.
You will engage each supervisee minimally once a month, work closely with SPS staff and submit progress reports outlining his/her reintegration needs for follow-up.
You will motivate supervisees to abide by their supervision conditions and may be required to refer them to relevant community agencies and prosocial groups for additional support and assistance.
As a new volunteer, you will undergo Prison Volunteer Training to familiarise yourself with the SPS’s throughcare approach and the do’s and don’ts during the engagement of supervisees.
You will also be further equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide case management and befriending for the supervisees in the community.
Raise awareness about the needs of ex-offenders and their families by volunteering with the Yellow Ribbon Project. Help ex-offenders unlock the “Second Prison”.
